Kicking off yet another work week, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were spotted getting down to business on some new episodes today (October 19). Gearing up for a day of shooting, Blake Lively looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she arrived on the Manhattan set. Joining her were Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester who got into character outside the Empire Hotel in the Uptown district of the Big Apple.Tonight at 9pm “Gossip Girl” hits the CW with a brand new episode titled “Enough About Eve.” Per the show’s official Web site: “Vanessa, hoping to finally win her mother Gabriela’s approval, desperately vies with Blair for the honor of delivering the freshman toast at NYU, but at what price? Dan invites Olivia to meet Rufus and Lily, which leads to all sorts of problems for the new couple. Serena and Nate team up to help
She’s always looking for ways to use her fame to benefit good causes, and Saturday night (October 17) Taylor Swift was in the house for the Justin Timberlake and Friends: A Special Evening Benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children. The “Should’ve Said No” songstress looked lovely as she took the stage at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to perform a hit-laden set. As she was preparing to being her portion of the concert, Timberlake assured the crowd that Miss Swift wouldn’t be rudely interrupted by any Kanye-style antics. Justin announced, “Don’t worry, guys, I got security on the sides, so no one can come up and ruin her set.” Also on the docket was Timberlake himself, Jay Sean, Snoop Dogg, and Alicia Keys.
