As soon as Sen. Bernie Sanders started his speech at the Democratic National Convention opening night, he was met with roaring cheers from the assembled delegates, and those self-described as ‘Feeling the Bern’. That particular group might have been feeling more of an onion-cutting burn in the convention during his speech, and the Internet didn’t hold back on them.
