Today’s “Google Doodle” (the mercurial sketch on the search giant’s home page ) celebrates the 65th birthday of a man many consider to be the best frontman in the history of rock and roll: Queen’s Freddie Mercury. Yes, Anti-Joke Chicken , this would have been his 65th birthday, but “the man with the four-octave range” died of AIDS complications in 1991, a time when few outside the gay community were talking about it
