Jennifer Stone Cast In “Harriet the Spy”

stunning-stone2028729–Jennifer Stone will take on the title role in the live-action TV movie “Harriet the Spy” according to the Hollywood Reporter. The movie will be co-produced by the Disney Channel and 9 Story Entertainment. Jennifer will star as high school student Harriet Welsch in the project based on the classic kids book series by Louise Fitzhugh, and will shoot in Hamilton, Ontario, to Dec. 4. The telefilm, directed by Ron Oliver, will debut in 2010 on Disney Channels worldwide and on the CBC and YTV in Canada.The story will follow young Harriet, who is determined to be her high school’s class blogger as she clashes with her nemesis, popular student Marion Hawthorne. In 1996, Nickelodeon made a feature film out of the book series starring Michelle Trachtenberg & Gregory Smith.

Megan Fox: ‘Most Beautiful People Have no Personality’

megan-fox_282Sex-bomb MEGAN Fox reckons good-looking celebrities use their beauty as a “mask”.  The Transformers star, 23, says just because Hollywood stars look nice on the outside, it doesn’t mean they’re nice on the inside. “I’ve met endless so-called beautiful people who don’t seem to have personalities or a direction in life,” she said. “They’ve never been forced to develop their characters because they’re viewed as being so attractive. So I think beauty can be a mask.”

Fox recently insisted she isn’t chasing fame. “I try not to focus on fame,” she said. “I am not that aware of it all except at certain times like when I was on the press tour for Transformers and there were large crowds of people wherever we went.

“When I was at the Teen Choice Awards recently it was great. I got very nervous when they got to my category because I thought they would all be screaming for Beyonce but not for me. I thought it would get quiet when they announced my name, I was actually scared.

“But instead there was a huge eruption of screaming and cheering and that made me so happy. I am thrilled to have so many teenage fans. I think teenagers are the best fans to have and if girls like me, then I am extremely happy because I do not want to push the female audience away. “It is a fine line that you walk when you are sold a certain way in the media.  I don’t think I have alienated girls, though, because it is usually teenage girls who approach me.”

 

Robert and Kristen Attend New Moon Cast Signing

New Moon hits movie theaters on November 20. Pattinson, 23, recently revealed that he used to doubt his acting abilities. “Dad was in a restaurant and saw a bunch of pretty girls and decided to go up and ask where they’d been,” he said. “They said they went to this drama club, so he said we’d better go down too!

“I said to my manager, ‘I can’t do that thing where someone comes up behind you and you look scared’. And he said, ‘What? Acting?’. And I was like, ‘That’s it! I can’t do that!’.” R-Patz also discussed the effect he has on his legions of female fans. “All the screaming is so bizarre. It’s a scream of wanting, but I have absolutely no idea what they want. How can I satisfy that?” he said.

“When there are girls standing there trembling and crying, that’s a very strange thing to be a part of. Girls scream for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date!” “Edward really liked Bella, felt a connection, but held back. I do it so many times too. Whenever I like someone subconsciously I think, ‘Don’t like me. I’m a d**k’. I’m worried for their sake. Especially if they’re not famous. It’s weird I have to think about that.”

Miley Cyrus Has Never Heard A Jay-Z Song

In a new interview, the Teen Queen claims that despite referencing Jay-Z in the first verse of her hit single “Party In The USA,” she’s never actually heard a song by the Grammy-winning rapper, whose career spans more than decade. So what gives? Apparently, Miles doesn’t “listen to pop music.” Perhaps we’re missing something here, but doesn’t she sing pop music? And sure hip-hop isn’t as rugged as it was during the Biggie/Pac era, but Lil Wayne qualifies as a pop star now?

“I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song. I don’t listen to pop music,” Miley remarked. “[‘Party in the U.S.A.’] is not even my style of music. I’m really blessed for it to have done as well as it has. Totally blessed. God has definitely put me in an amazing position with amazing people.”

She added, “Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn’t write it [and] I didn’t expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best….”

 

Taylor Lautner Talks Taylor Swift… Sort Of

Last night (November 6), Taylor attended the “New Moon” press conference in Beverly Hills and, of his relationship with the blonde cutie, he told press, “The very funny thing is that all of you have seen every single move I make, so I guess I can leave that up to you to decide.” When asked about how he would feel if Swift wrote a song about him, the hunky “Twilight” star responded, “That’s a scary thing. I don’t know if she has. I have no idea.” While a romance certainly seems to be in place, the tale of two Taylors continues….

AJ Michalka Joins “Secretariat”!

Not only were they looking for a horse, but a leading lady as well and they have found one!]  AJ Michalka has joined Diane Lane and John Malkovich to star in the film! She tweeted about it yesterday saying, “I didn’t wanna announce this until I started filming, some of you already figured it out…I’m working on a film called Secretariat Xo AJ. It’s a Walt Disney feature film with Diane Lane and John Malkovich. Diane & Dylan Walsh play my parents. Randall Wallace is directing! Xo AJ So excited about this movie, it’s a beautiful true story. Having an amazing time filming in Kentucky! Finally the news has arrived ha!Xo AJ.”

This is very exciting news! “Secretariat” is a true story about the life story of Penny Chenery, owner of the racehorse Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. Congrats to AJ. We are really looking forward to this movie and think she is just the girl for the part. source: disneysociety.’
