Back home on the west coast, Hilary Duff was spotted out getting prettied up at Ken Paves Hair Salon in West Hollywood on Thursday (October 22). After spending three hours getting her hair done, the former “Lizzie McGuire” star ended up running into a bit of a problem as she exited the salon – getting a parking ticket from local patrolmen. As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Duff was recently situated in New York City as she filmed her new ABC movie, “The Business of Falling in Love”.The romantic comedy “will star Duff as a fashion reporter who goes undercover in the business world in the hopes of finding love while writing an article about dating men in suits.”
Tackling yet another project, Hilary Duff was spotted on the New York City set of “The Business of Falling in Love” today (October 20). The “Lizzie McGuire” actress looked lovely as she filmed scenes and chatted with costars and crewmembers, sporting a green blouse teamed with a leopard print skirt, white stockings, and black heels. Following a new episode of her hit CW show last night, you can catch Hilary when “Gossip Girl” returns next Monday with another new installment titled “Enough About Eve”.Per the show’s Web site, a synopsis tells: “In need of publicity for his new hotel, Chuck (Ed Westwick) decides to move up his club’s opening and enlists Serena’s (Blake Lively) help to get the word out to her celebrity clients. Feeling left out of the planning, Blair (Leighton Meester) attempts to win Chuck’s approval by secretly helping him with a problem concerning opening night. Dan (Penn Badgley) is unnerved when he finally watches one of Olivia’s (guest star Hilary Huff) infamous sex scenes with co-star and real-life boyfriend at the time, Patrick Robinson (guest star Simon Miller). Jenny (Taylor Momsen ) is forced to choose between her relationship with Eric (Connor Paolo) and her new role as Queen Bee. Rufus (Matthew Settle) gets Lily (Kelly Rutherford) into the Halloween spirit.”
She’s definitely one of Disney’s hottest talents, butSelena Gomez doesn’t plan on becoming the next Miley Cyrus. Explaining that she just wants to “do her own thing,” Miss Gomez tells, “I’m not here to replace anyone. I’m here doing my own thing. I’m proud to be a part of the Disney Channel family and I’m taking it day by day.” And while she just recently dropped her debut album called Kiss & Tell, Selena also revealed that she plans to continue to make acting her top priority. “I can’t believe I have a CD!” Gomez exclaimed. “Acting will always be my number one. I just love acting so much. Music is more of a personal thing I like to do.”
–“Gossip Girl” is about to get a whole lot hotter. Besides having Hilary Duff join the cast (her first episode airs Monday), it’s just been announced that Kevin Zegers will be joining the cast!!!!! (Sorry, please excuse our excitement…we’ve loved Kevin since his “Air Bud” days…haha) He will play Jenny Humphrey’s (Taylor Momsen) love interest in multi-episode arc. Check out more from Access Hollywood: Kevin is also slated to star alongside Hilary Duff – who will also be appearing on “Gossip” this season – in 2010’s “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”
The introduction of Zegers’ character could be a sign of a revived storyline for Little J, who has been lacking in her usual high drama and big city high jinks. Fans will fondly remember last season’s Little J highlights that included: running away from home to be a guerilla fashion designer and kissing her brother’s best friend, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). source.
