John Lennon: RIP

30 years ago today, John Lennon was gunned down by Mark David Chapman outside his New York apartment building. The image above depicts John signing a copy of Double Fantasy for Chapman just hours before his murder.

Here are some audio clips of John Lennon’s final interview with Rolling Stone, recorded three days before his murder. Part of a nine hour interview ranging from music and politics to image and idolatry, the full interview will hit newsstands this Friday.

You are gone, but you’ll never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

So What’s the Deal with Miley and Liam?

Everyone is aching to know whether or not Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially dating. Of course after she deleted her Twitter account Miley has made it clear that she wants her personal life to remain personal. I totally respect that. However, in her interview with Seventeen Magazine the things she says about Liam definitely seem uhmm a bit personal and they sound like they’re more then friends.

She insists that they are simply best friends and formed a solid relationship while filming ‘The Last Song’. I don’t doubt it. However, some of the things she says sound like stuff I would say about a significant other. For example:

All you want is for one person to say, ‘You did a really good job today.’ Or ‘You look really beautiful,’ or ‘I was really moved by that.’ You just want one person to make you feel good about something you’re doing,” she explained. “Liam has been a big part of that.

I’m not sure what to believe but I totally understand and respect her desire to keep her life private. Celebrities don’t have it easy when it comes to paparazzi and everyone wants in their business.

Miley and Liam look very affectionate but if they are close friends like she says then acting together would have been a breeze! I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see the movie.

Kristen Stewart: “The Yellow Handkerchief”

Her acting career is absolutely booming these days, and now Kristen Stewart has added yet another film to her already extensive movie pipeline. The “Twilight” star’s next project called “The Yellow Handkerchief” is a much different role from that of Bella Swan as she will be playing a troubled teenager who hopes to escape her family.  Of the role compared to Bella, the film’s producer, Arthur Cohn, says, “In my personal opinion, from a pure acting point of view, ‘The Yellow Handkerchief’ was a more difficult part to play.” Besides her amazing acting abilities, Ms Stewart has her “Panic Room” costar, Jodie Foster, to thank for landing her the role. Foster “wholeheartedly recommended Kristen” for the part.
