–“Gossip Girl” is about to get a whole lot hotter. Besides having Hilary Duff join the cast (her first episode airs Monday), it’s just been announced that Kevin Zegers will be joining the cast!!!!! (Sorry, please excuse our excitement…we’ve loved Kevin since his “Air Bud” days…haha) He will play Jenny Humphrey’s (Taylor Momsen) love interest in multi-episode arc. Check out more from Access Hollywood: Kevin is also slated to star alongside Hilary Duff – who will also be appearing on “Gossip” this season – in 2010’s “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”

The introduction of Zegers’ character could be a sign of a revived storyline for Little J, who has been lacking in her usual high drama and big city high jinks. Fans will fondly remember last season’s Little J highlights that included: running away from home to be a guerilla fashion designer and kissing her brother’s best friend, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). source.
