Justin Bieber: Rihanna Turned Me Down

‘Justin Bieber sticks out his tongue as he arrives at MTV Studios in Times Square NYC on Thursday morning (November 19). The 15-year-old musician chatted with Chelsea Handler on her talk show Chelsea Lately last night and dished about asking superstar Rihanna out on a date. Justin shared, “Yea, I asked her out. It didn’t go so well since I’m not with her. I asked her out and she was basically like, ‘You’re too young.’”

 

Miley Cyrus Speaks Out About Bus Crash

Hannah cutie Miley and the rest of her Cyrus family have posted a message her official website about the bus crash that occured earlier this morning south of Richmond, Virginia, which claimed the life of bus driver Bill Douglas. The Cyrus family posted, “”We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed.”

The bus was traveling along with three other buses (carrying members of Miley’s production crew but not Miley) southbound on Interstate I-85 just south of Petersburg, VA, when it ran off the left side of the road and overturned. source.

 

“New Moon” Conquers the Midnight Box Office

Coming as little surprise, “New Moon” is already placing itself into the record book – as it was tops for a midnight run raking in an estimated $26.3 million. Along with the overwhelming success of “New Moon,” theaters got fans ready by re-releasing “Twilight” just prior to the follow-ups debut – which garnered another $1.3 million. The previous record holder for the midnight slot was “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” which pulled in $22.2 million earlier this summer.Meanwhile, the second installment in the “Twilight Saga” franchise is slated to earn more than $85 million opening weekend – already having broken all pre-sales records when it comes to tickets.

 

“New Moon” After Party: A Star-Studded Affair

It was a literal who’s who of young Hollywood as the “New Moon” after party got under way at club Box in New York City last night (November 19). Following the exclusive premiere, the film’s stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, and Taylor Lautner were spotted making their way to the late-night fete.  And that was just the beginning of the paparazzi’s dream-come-true soiree, as “Gossip Girl” stars Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr, and Taylor Momsen all showed up.In addition, Emma Roberts, Joan Jett, Olivia Palermo, and Agyness Deyn all made appearances at the Meatpacking District locale.

 

“New Moon” Stars’ Post-Premiere Dinner

SPL139014_004Continuing their massive promotional tour, the stars of “New Moon” were spotted grabbing some dinner following the premiere of their new flick in Madrid, Spain last night (November 12). Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner all looked to be having a marvelous time as they exited a swanky local eatery to find a mass of fans and paparazzi waiting for them. In related news, “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke told Time magazine that the romantic rumors about Kristen and Robert are true after all. She explained, “After I cast him, I told Rob, don’t even think about having a romance with her . . . She’s under 18. You will be arrested.  In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn’t happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.  I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, O.K., I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.”
