Radio Disney kicks off the holiday season in Chicago with a special concert featuring Walt Disney Records artist and “Hannah Montana” star Mitchel Musso on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21 at the 18th annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival® presented by Harris. Following the concert, Musso, Radio Disney on-air personality Jake Whetter (”Celebrity Take with Jake” and “Top 30 Countdown”) and local Radio Disney personalities PK and Adam will welcome contest winners aboard the “Disney Prep & Landing” float presented by Radio Disney for the tree lighting procession down Michigan Avenue as Mitchel Musso performs “Shout It.”
Beginning this week, Radio Disney listeners can enter to win “Disney Prep & Landing” prizes, and one lucky National Grand Prize winner will receive a three-night trip for four to Chicago to meet Mitchel Musso and be the special guests of Radio Disney during The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival® presented by Harris, with VIP seats and a $500 shopping spree on Michigan Avenue and another $500 to spend at the Disney Store.
Musso’s concert sponsored by Radio Disney is open to the public and will take place at 1:30 p.m. on the Harris Stage in Pioneer Court (401 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL). She’s always looking for ways to use her fame to benefit good causes, and Saturday night (October 17) Taylor Swift was in the house for the Justin Timberlake and Friends: A Special Evening Benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children. The “Should’ve Said No” songstress looked lovely as she took the stage at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to perform a hit-laden set. As she was preparing to being her portion of the concert, Timberlake assured the crowd that Miss Swift wouldn’t be rudely interrupted by any Kanye-style antics. Justin announced, “Don’t worry, guys, I got security on the sides, so no one can come up and ruin her set.” Also on the docket was Timberlake himself, Jay Sean, Snoop Dogg, and Alicia Keys.
You can catch a brand new episode of Hannah Montana on October 18th @7:30-8:00 p.m., ET/PT on Disney Channel. It’s called “Judge Me Tender” and involves Hannah Montana guest judging on the reality show America’s Top Talent. In “Judge Me Tender”, Hannah fills in for Kara DioGuardi alongside judges Andy and Byron on reality show “America’s Top Talent.” Her stint as a guest judge turns complicated when Oliver auditions and delivers a knock-out performance. Oliver turns into a heartthrob overnight and gets so caught up with the attention, he neglects Lilly, so when he is scheduled to perform again, Lilly pressures Miley to give him a bad review so he won’t advance to the next round. Much to their dismay, he delivers another great performance and Miley finds herself stuck between being honest or helping Lilly.
