Cutie Justin Bieber can thank Twitter for his broken foot. See, if it wasn’t for the social networking phenomenon, the li’l guy may never have met Taylor Swift and therefore may never have gotten the chance to open for her at England’s Wembley Arena. We’ll let the Biebster explain… “Taylor made a video singing my song one time on YouTube,” pop music’s newest 15-year-old singing sensation tells us. “And so I twittered her. She was twittering me back and we got to hang out.” Then Bieber went to one of Swift’s concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City followed by another one in Nashville. “I got to hang out with her for a little bit…and we text a lot,” Bieber said. “She’s just a really nice person.” If you haven’t heard by now, Bieber took a stumble during his set on Monday. He fractured his right foot and was treated at a hospital with a big ol’ cast. TaySwif isn’t Master Bieber’s only celeb pal these days. As fans know by now, he’s a protégé of R&B crooner Usher, but he also says he’s tight with Selena Gomez. “About a week ago, when me and Selena were in L.A., we went to this amusement park,” Bieber said. “We went on roller coasters. I was more afraid than her.” thanks hormoaning!
Teen star MILEY Cyrus is planning to dress up as Dolly Parton for her 17th birthday. The Hannah Montana actress — whose birthday is in November — says she can’t wait to pay homage to her big-breasted idol. “I really want to do a Dolly Parton themed party for my 17th but it’s going to be really cold so I don’t want to go to Dollywood because it’s going to be freezing,” Miley said. “But I want all my friends to come and rent out a place and play all Dolly Parton music and have everyone dress up as their favourite Dolly moment.” Miley recently called for a worldwide ban on the social-networking website Twitter.“I am doing so much better now without Twitter,” she said. “I think Twitter should be banned from this universe. People want to know everything but you need to get out and be healthy and be in the world instead of crouching over a website all the time. “All I did in my time off was lie in bed on my computer and sit in bed and eat ice cream and just lay there late at night. “I ended up not living my life and saying things that are really no one else’s business. I’m not really a big fan of the Internet anymore. I don’t really go online anymore.”
I’ve been waiting for this bit of news. It sounds like Disney has had just about enough of twitter and it seems to be causing a problem for the company. Stars such as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Mitchel Musso and of course…Miley Cyrus all have (or had) twitter accounts. We all knowwhy Miley left hers behind and in an effort to gain some control back, Disney has laid some ground rules for the stars who twitter.
Disney’s new rule forbids confidentiality breaches via “interactive media such as Facebook, Twitter or any other interactive social network or personal blog”. An entertainment lawyer tells the Hollywood Reporter, “This is just the beginning. Hollywood has a long history of controlling what talent says in the media. This is just a new area of media that hasn’t been controlled yet.”
Well, those rules don’t sound bad. You would think the stars would know not to breach any confidentiality anyway, but unfortunately it’s been happening all over the place with stars on Twitter. But, like the lawyer told the Hollywood Reporter…this is just the beginning! Do you think Disney will eventually ask stars to leave twitter all together and if so, how will that change the social networking site? source; disneysociety.com
Cutie Chelsea Staub has sung praise to her “J.O.N.A.S!” co-star Nick Jonas. Speaking to Girls2Watch, the depicter of Stella Malone on the TV series has called the 17-year-old singer “definitely the brains” behind his famous musical trio,Jonas Brothers. “He’s the little brother, but he’s in charge of it all and he writes pretty much all of the music,” Chelsea reveals. “He definitely has ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is, Nick’s got it. He plays drums and keyboard and guitar and writes and does all of it well. So he’s definitely the musical one in that family.” Beside talking about Nick, Chelsea also comments on his older brother, Joe Jonas. “He’s just the entertainer. He’s a goofball on and off set. He’s constantly pulling pranks and getting us into trouble and he’s great when he’s on stage. He really sells it,” the 21-year-old beauty says. Chelsea, moreover, shares her opinion about a proper job for the oldest Jonas, Kevin Jonas, stating “He should be a salesman.” She goes on detailing, “He’s really easy to talk to, always dresses to the nines, and is definitely the manager of the band. He keeps everybody in check.”
