In the strips, Gary Trudeau satirizes a Texas law that requires women seeking an abortion to be presented with a an ultrasound of the fetus 24 hours before the procedure. The Gainesville Sun in Florida and the Kansas City Star, among other publications, have replaced the story arc with old “Doonesbury” strips.
