FX is taking a bite out of The Twilight Saga. The network has acquired the ad-supported TV rights to the four movies in the Twilight film franchise as part of a package deal with producer Summit Entertainment. Under the pact, FX will start running last year’s Twilight, the first movie in the franchise, beginning in late 2011. The Twilight Saga: New Moon which opened at $142.8 million domestically last weekend, will be available in late 2012. Eclipse, which is slated for a June 30 release, will have its premiere on FX in early 2013. As part of the package deal with Summit, FX also gets the rights to air The Hurt Locker, Push, and Knowing. ‘

And of course, Miss Tisdale was sporting some stylish duds, including a white top with a black jacket, black leggings, and black boots. Earlier in the day, Ashley tended to her killer physique with a trip to her Los Angeles fitness center, looking sporty in a grey workout ensemble.
Taking advantage of some much-deserved time off from their 2009 World Tour, Joe and Nick Jonas were spotted out and about in Dublin, Ireland yesterday (November 23). The “Burnin’ Up” boys looked to be having a marvelous time in the Irish city, posing for the paparazzi as they strolled around town. Joe even paid a visit to the Special Olympics Sports Club at the Holy Child Community School where he joined the athletes for a game of basketball. The kids seemed to really love spending time with the JoBro, who was more than happy to stick around for pictures after the game.
–The Twilight Saga: New Moon had a huge opening day. The second movie in the franchise pulled in $72.7 million breaking the previous single-day boxoffice record of $67.2 million, set by The Dark Knight in July 2008. The first day total included $26.3 million in boxoffice from a total 3,514 performances at 12:01 a.m. Friday, which set a record for midnight showings. The original Twilight collected $36 million in its first day of release and $69.6 million in its first weekend.

Continuing along with their romp around the world, the stars of the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” were busy boosting interest in their new film in Munich, Germany on Saturday (November 14). With Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner on hand, the gang attended the annual HBV Jugendtreff concert event at Olympiahalle Muenchen. After finishing up in Munich, the “New Moon” stars will be heading back to the States to wind up their intense promotional tour.On Monday, Robert, Kristen and Taylor will be joining their fellow co-stars for a big premiere in Los Angeles, with talk show duties lined up leading to the “New Moon” theatrical release date of November 20th.
