When you put together the words ‘Japan’ and ‘Navy’, it generally doesn’t conjure up the happiest thoughts or memories for people from the good ol’ US of A. But with a good number of decades behind us and peace between our nations, I think it’s okay for us to marvel at their engineering prowess without getting chased across the border with pitchforks. And believe me, the I-401 is something to be gawked at.
