Showing off her musical skills, Ashley Tisdale was on-hand for the Los Premios MTV 2009 Latin America Awards in Universal City on Thursday night (October 15). The “High School Musical” actress was among the stars to rock the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre, playing her new tune “Crank It Up” for the sold out crowd. Coming as a bit of a letdown, Tizzie wasn’t among those to take home a trophy – as she was beat out by Lady GaGa in the Best International Artist category.Nonetheless, the 24-year-old still managed to have a wonderful evening, tweeting, “Latin vma’s were so much fun! Had a blast!!”
Stopping off for an afternoon pick-me-up, Ashley Tisdale was spotted hitting up the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Los Angeles yesterday (October 12). The “High School Musical” hottie looked cute and comfy in her Free City attire as she made her way to the gym, trying to avoid the paparazzi. During a recent interview, Tizzie confessed that even she gets stage fright. “I always get stage fright and nervous before I perform. I think it kind of goes up until the time I hit the stage. Before the show everyone kind of hates me cause I’m so freaked out, but I think it’s just because I want to do the best that I can. I always want to make the fans proud so I put a lot of pressure on myself. Lately though I’ve gotten better at not being so nervous.” And coming up on Wednesday, November 11th, Ashley will be teaming up with M magazine to co-host Hollywood Halloween at the Marquee in New York City.
Venturing out for a tasty treat, Zac Efron was spotted dropping by Nuba Falafel Restaurant in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday (October 10). Unhappy to find paparazzi awaiting his exit, the former Disney hunk covered up his face as he left the local eatery while taking advantage of a little downtime from filming “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud”. In related news, Zac recently chatted with Nylon Guys about his work on “Me and Orson Welles” – telling that it was the first flick he was proud to go see.
To My Dearest Fans Sat, Oct 10, 2009 To my dearest fans, You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered “working. ‘ But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a “normal” life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don’t love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can’t have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.

The “High School Musical” hottie looked to be in good spirits as she strolled up to the celebrity-popular eatery, sporting a black and white dress with black heels and a black leather jacket. Earlier in the day, Ashley and her boyfriend Scott Speer hit up Mo’s Diner in Toluca Lake, California for a casual lunch date.
‘Zac Efron admits he used to annoy his parents when he was growing up — because he was “constantly” singing! The High School Musical star admits his mom and dad got a little bit annoyed that their son kept breaking out into song. “I was constantly singing,” Efron told Nylon Guys magazine. “I would hear things on the radio and just be about to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. My parents were like, ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’ ”

Joined by boyfriend Scott Speer, the “High School Musical” babe enjoyed a lunch date at Mo’s restaurant as the paparazzi looked on. And Mr. Speer proved that chivalry is still alive and kicking as he made sure to open the car door for Tizzie as they made their departure.
