Life According to Classic Disney
Flipping on The Disney Channel today, it’s almost hard to believe that the same corporation that produces Hannah Montana and High School Musical also produced some of the most beloved animated classics of all time. It would appear, according to these captions, that even some of our favorite Disney characters are dismayed at the current state of Disney (and of pop culture in general). Let us all fondly remember the classic movies that shaped our childhoods while trying to forget about Disney’s recent embarrassments.

Zac Efron: “Late Show” Stud
Making an evening stop at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, Zac Efron was all smiles at the “Late Show with David Letterman” in New York City on Tuesday (November 24). Dressed in a snazzy suit, the “High School Musical” hunk greeted fans and posed for pictures as he headed inside to promote his new movie, “Me and Orson Welles”. Keeping quite the busy schedule as of late, Zac teamed up with his “Me and Orson Welles” costar Christian McKay earlier in the day to unveil a plaque at the original Mercury Theatre site on their upcoming movie’s behalf.
Zac also recently declared his desire to be seduced by an older woman on the big screen, saying, “I’m still waiting for that script and that director. I like a lot of movies from the 1970s. A movie I just saw again and one of my favorites is The Graduate.”
Ashley Tisdale’s Movie Date Night
Kicking off her week with a low key date, Ashley Tisdale was spotted out and about in Los Angeles hitting up a Hollywood movie theater last night (November 23). Joined by boyfriend Scott Speer, the “High School Musical” hottie looked to be having a great time as she strolled past the paparazzi. And of course, Miss Tisdale was sporting some stylish duds, including a white top with a black jacket, black leggings, and black boots. Earlier in the day, Ashley tended to her killer physique with a trip to her Los Angeles fitness center, looking sporty in a grey workout ensemble.

Despite anything you might have heard, a source is saying that things are still great. “they spent months together up in Vancouver, where they are both filming movies.” “Things are going well with them,” the source says. “They are happy. It’s been awhile since we’ve seem them together.
“New Moon” After Party: A Star-Studded Affair
It was a literal who’s who of young Hollywood as the “New Moon” after party got under way at club Box in New York City last night (November 19). Following the exclusive premiere, the film’s stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, and Taylor Lautner were spotted making their way to the late-night fete. And that was just the beginning of the paparazzi’s dream-come-true soiree, as “Gossip Girl” stars Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr, and Taylor Momsen all showed up.In addition, Emma Roberts, Joan Jett, Olivia Palermo, and Agyness Deyn all made appearances at the Meatpacking District locale.
Zac Efron: GMTV Guy
Out for a promotional appearance, Zac Efron was spotted leaving the GMTV Studios earlier today in London, England (November 20). The “High School Musical” stud was drumming up interest in his new flick “Me and Orson Welles,” and graciously stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with a few lucky fans. Last night (November 19), Zac was over in the Notting Hill neighborhood attending a special screening of the film at the Gate Cinema.In a recent interview, Efron explained his criteria for choosing movie roles. “Would I go watch this movie? That’s probably the first thing I think about. The second is, What’s the challenge? What’s the risk? I think the risk for me in this role is that it doesn’t really rely on anything I’ve used in the past. There wasn’t a particular skill set I could fall back on, like singing or dancing or basketball. So I was forced to grow in other areas. The other actors in the movie are all incredibly accomplished, and I didn’t want to disappoint.”
Miley Cyrus: Low-Key Romance with liam?
Singer Miley Cyrus won’t full out say it, but it is pretty clear that she and Australian costar Liam Hemsworth are in a romantic relationship. The singer boasted, “I’ve never gotten along with someone so well. I was a little anxious about making this movie; I wanted everything to be perfect. To go on set and feel insecure was a totally new element for me. But he felt the same way. He admitted his insecurities, and it was really nice to have someone who understands me for once.”
The two appeared together in The Last Song and have already been spotted locking lips off the set. Cyrus has also been linked to on-and-off again boyfriend Nick Jonas as well as model Justin Gaston.
But Hemsworth seems pretty into the 16 year-old singer/actress, supporting her choice to get rid of Twitter.
“It sucks when your personal life becomes public,” she says. “So I’m finding ways to make my personal and private life more of my life – which is one of the reasons why I deleted my Twitter. We’ve decided that any type of relationship that we have, we will always just keep it very D.L. First and foremost, we are best friends, so that’s what I tell people all the time.”
Cyrus has also thanked Hemsworth for the changes she’s gone through that include statements that have her fans very confused such as the loss of Twitter, dissing popular music, and being blunt about what she feels about Twilight.
“Liam has been a big part of that,” she says. “All you want is for one person to say, ‘You did a really good job today.’ Or ‘You look really beautiful,’ or ‘I was really moved by that.’ You just want one person to make you feel good about something you’re doing.”
Zac Efron Wearing Same Jeans for Eight Weeks
Hottie Zac Efron has just talked about his favorite wardrobe. Being interviewed by WWD during the Nylon Guys Launch event on Wednesday, November 4, the 22-year-old hunk admitted that he once used G-Star jeans continuously over eight weeks as he felt comfortable wearing it. “They’re my favorite jeans,” he claimed. Asked when he donned the dirty denim, the Vanessa Hudgens‘ boyfriend revealed, “I wore them all throughout ‘High School Musical 3′. I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right.” In related news, Zac Efron has wrapped the shooting of his upcoming film, “Charlie St. Cloud“. Celebrating the end of the filming, the actor was seen partying with other cast ensemble and crew for the movie at Watermark Restaurant on Kits Beach in Vancouver, Canada.
